Days 1- 4
Northern Circuit Immersion
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), transfer to Arusha/Moshi, and potentially embark on a local cultural tour to Materuni waterfalls or a coffee lesson. The following day, journey to Tarangire National Park for extensive game drives, observing its famous elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Day 3 brings a full-day descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, offering unparalleled Big Five viewing within the caldera. Day 4 involves exploring Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife, or a cultural encounter with the Hadzabe tribe at Lake Eyasi.
Days 5 - 10
Serengeti's Endless Plains & Departure
Drive to the iconic Serengeti National Park on Day 5, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge, immediately commencing game drives upon arrival. Days 6 and 7 are dedicated to full-day game drives across the vast Serengeti, tracking the Great Migration (seasonally dependent) and observing diverse predator-prey interactions, with options for bush breakfasts or sundowners. Day 8 involves a transfer back to the Ngorongoro Highlands or continued Serengeti exploration based on migration patterns, while Day 9 offers optional activities like a hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti for breathtaking aerial views, or simply relaxation at the lodge. Finally, on Day 10, enjoy a last morning activity before transferring to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha and onward departure from JRO.
